(Amazing) Chili

Best chili we’ve had! Plus it’s Instant Pot, super easy

:bowl_with_spoon: Diced Tomatoes (not drained) 28 oz 835/939ml 796ml can :white_check_mark:
:bowl_with_spoon: Tomato Sauce 24 oz 715ml 680ml can :white_check_mark:
:bowl_with_spoon: Beef Broth 3/4 cup :white_check_mark:
:bowl_with_spoon: Kidney Beans (drained and rinsed) 15 oz 540ml can :white_check_mark:
:bowl_with_spoon: Pinto Beans (drained and rinsed) 15 oz 540ml can :white_check_mark:
:bowl_with_spoon: Chili Powder 2 Tbsp generously :white_check_mark:
:bowl_with_spoon: Cumin 2 tsp generously :white_check_mark:
:bowl_with_spoon: Smoked Paprika 2 tsp VERY generously :white_check_mark:
:bowl_with_spoon: Cocoa Powder 2 tsp :white_check_mark:
:bowl_with_spoon: Sugar 1 tsp can skip :white_check_mark:
:bowl_with_spoon: Salt 1 1/2 tsp kosher :white_check_mark:
:bowl_with_spoon: Ground Pepper 3/4 tsp :white_check_mark:

Toppings

  • Shredded Cheese - we tend to use a mix of shredded cheese (eg. TexMex)
  • Diced Tomatoes
  • Green Onions
  • Sour Cream
  • Avocado - favourite!

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Turn your Instant Pot to Saute and add the olive oil to the pot.

  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking up the beef with a spatula as you stir.

  3. Add the onion and cook for 3 more minutes or until softened.

  4. Add all the :bowl_with_spoon: ingredients to the pot.

  5. Manual Pressure: 20mins (or Chili/Beans setting)
    Natural Release: N/A

  6. Serve with assorted toppings.
