Miso Glazed Salmon

Miso Glaze for Salmon or really any other fish from the grocery store.

PREP TIME: 5 mins to prep; 30+ mins to marinate in the fridge
COOK TIME: 5-7 mins depending on size of fish

:shallow_pan_of_food: Red Miso or White Miso (or mixed) 2-3 tsp
:shallow_pan_of_food: Sake 2 lbs Can sub for other cooking wine
:shallow_pan_of_food: Salmon 6 ounce Or any other fish :white_check_mark:
:bowl_with_spoon: White Sugar 2 tbsp To taste
:bowl_with_spoon: Soy Sauce 2 tsp less salt


  1. Mix together all of the ingredients (except fish) in a small bowl. Mix well.

  2. Put fish into a glass container that has a lid. Coat the fish with glaze. Put container in fridge to marinate for minimum of 30 mins or max overnight.

  3. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil and coat with a bit of olive oil. Put marinated fish on baking sheet.

  4. Broil fish in oven on HIGH approximately 6 inches from broiler element for 6-10 mins. IMPORTANT: Watch fish closely because it might burn.
